Day Center Renovation Project

In the first weeks of October, we began renovating our day center. Catalyst Partnership NW and Shawn Mitchell provided their expertise to make the Family Promise Day Center renovations a reality.  They mobilized their volunteers along with the volunteers we provided to work on roof, deck, siding, structural, interior walls, interior painting, tree trimming, and gardening projects.  Catalyst has a long history of inspiring people, building hope and nurturing community by bringing together useful resources and caring volunteers to meet the needs of under-resourced non-profits in our community.  FPTV is so fortunate to have been part of their outreach.

In addition to Rolling Hills Community Church and Catalyst Partnership NW we greatly appreciate the Silvey Family Foundation for a generous grant to cover much of our renovation expenses. Other partners include: Forensic Analytical Consulting Services for providing environmental consulting services, Kennedy Restoration for donating remediation equipment and supplies, Dave's Tractor and Tree Services LLC, Parr Lumber, IBEW 48, PLUS 5, Miller Paint, Tualatin Presbyterian Church, Lake Oswego United Methodist Church, and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Building communities, strengthening lives.  Keeping families together.

Family Promise of Tualatin Valley (FPTV) is a non-profit organization that helps homeless children and their families regain housing and independence. We are creating a network of religious and civic organizations to provide shelter, meals, resource assistance and a path to sustainable housing.

About Us

We want our students in class every day.  The need is great. The time is now. We adopted an established, proven program and are making it our own.
