Who We Are

Family Promise of Tualatin Valley provides local homeless children and their families with stable, community-based, short-term housing and offers case management services to help families achieve sustainable housing and independence.

Family Promise of Tualatin Valley (FPTV) is a non-denominational, 501(c)(3)  nonprofit organization that serves homeless children and their families. We are an affiliate of the national Family Promise Program, which has more than 200 affiliates based in 43 states and over 200,000 volunteers.

In partnership with a network of religious and civic organizations, we provide families with safe spaces to sleep, meals, access to resources, and community support.  Through case management and individualized family plans, the FPTV team helps families identify and connect with services to meet their needs and prioritize placement into safe, stable housing .

We believe that if a student can stay with their family, in their own school, and in their own community, they – and their families – can succeed.

Our volunteer-based program relies upon community members who support our families as they move to sustainable housing, regain independence, and succeed as they graduate from the FPTV program.
