Family Promise of Tualatin Valley is a non-profit organization that was formed
in October of 2017. We opened our doors to children and families in March of
2019. Our mission is to equip vulnerable families and individuals to
end the cycle of homelessness through a community-based
response. We prevent family homelessness by keeping families housed
through landlord mediation services and rental assistance. We also provide
emergency shelter for up to 70 households experiencing houselessness while
they work to achieve sustainable housing and independence. Our wraparound
services include case management, housing navigation, and enrichment
programming, all within our 55,000 square-foot building, located in Tigard.
In 2024, FPTV provided shelter to 458 individuals, including 221 children,
offering them a safe place to stay and a path toward stability. Beyond our
shelter, we also helped more than 200 individuals remain in their homes,
preventing homelessness before it affected families in our community. Through
comprehensive support services, we make a lasting impact, ensuring local
families have the resources they need to rebuild their lives.
Eat, Drink, & Be Giving is a highly anticipated
annual event, scheduled for September 27, 2025. This year, our
marketing is expected to reach over 3,000 people. Our database of
supporters includes over 2,000 individuals, spanning public servants, industry
leaders, business owners, philanthropists, and community members. Our email
campaigns, in which event sponsors will be highlighted, have a 50% open rate.
