Marketing for the event is anticipated to reach over 3,000 people. Our database of supporters includes over
1,900 names representing public servants, industry leaders, business owners, philanthropists, and
community supporters. Our email campaigns generally have a 50% open rate!
Our 7th annual in-person fundraiser, Eat, Drink and Be Giving, will take place on November 2nd at the
Tumwater Ballroom in Oregon City. We will be serving appetizers, dinner, and drinks with a dessert dash to
finish the evening. The evening will include entertainment, stories from our year and a paddle raise in
support of our program. We will have a silent auction on site as well.
Family Promise of Tualatin Valley was formed in October 2017 and opened its doors to children and their
families in March 2019. We are a non-profit organization whose mission is to help children and their
families maintain their housing through landlord mediation and rental assistance and to shelter up to 70
households experiencing homelessness while they work to achieve sustainable housing and
independence. We accomplish this by providing emergency shelter and wraparound services that include
case management and housing navigation, all within our 55,000 sq ft building located in Tigard.
In 2023, FPTV provided 39,270 shelter bed nights, over 98,000 meals, and 77% of our households
transitioned into stable housing! Additionally, we helped more than 500 individuals keep their existing
housing.
